It’s summertime! For some people that means sunshine, beach days, and boating, but here in Miami we know it means humidity and hurricane season. To put it plainly, along with all the fun, summer can be a struggle in Miami. So to bring some color, fun, and joy into your everyday life we've got some fun new arrivals at Frangipani including goods for the home and clothing.
The biggest trend of the summer is everything crochet; so it’s no surprise that MAVRANS has come out with a great collection of lightweight knits for you to look fresh all summer long. Featuring bright colors with hand embroidered details, these looks are the pinnacle of summer fashion. MAVRANS also uses sustainable materials such as PLANTYARN fabric so not only will you look good, but you will be doing the planet a favor as well.
Another trend this summer is all things embroidered, which is why we are very excited to be carrying Curiosity Lab’s gorgeous Suzani jackets. Coming in three different colors (yellow, blue, and fuschia), each bomber has a unique embroidery that makes it feel like you're wearing a work of art. These jackets are handmade in India and feature lovely floral and abstract motifs. They are also lined with pockets, making it the perfect jacket for any occasion.
A customer favorite at Frangipani has always been Duvin, a local skate and surf inspired clothing brand. This is why we are so excited that they have launched a summer collection for women. Featuring fun prints in both lounging sets and bathing suits, this will surely add some bright fun to your wardrobe all summer long!
At Frangipani not only do we have you covered in terms of clothes and swim, but we also want you to help you have a well decorated and curated home! Start with our adorable new paper-maché animal masks handmade in India. These lightweight masks make great art for any wall and can be mounted easily. The masks represent characters from the Ramayana which is an ancient Sanskrit epic in which animals help the main character, Prince Rama, fulfill his quest of rescuing his wife Sita from the clutches of the evil Ravana. So like all of our products at Frangipani not only are these masks visually appealing, but they have a fun backstory as well!
Last but certainly not least on our list of new summer arrivals at Frangipani are enamel mugs, pitchers, and trays from Curiosity Labs in Paris. This collection of hand-painted kitchenware comes from the Kashmir region and are 100% stainless steel. They feature colorful vegetal motifs and tigers which will surely add brightness to any kitchen and maybe even inspire you to invite some friends over for a dinner party!
